Telegram Multi-Account Management Guide
Telegram allows users to easily manage multiple accounts on the same device or client and switch between them quickly without frequent logins. Here are the specific instructions for different platforms:
iOS Client
Adding an Account
Long press (or tap) the "Settings" button in the bottom right corner, select "Add Account" from the pop-up menu, and then enter your other phone number and verification code to complete the login. The official iOS client supports logging in to a maximum of 3 accounts simultaneously.
Switching Accounts
Similarly, long press (or tap) the "Settings" button in the bottom right corner, and the list of successfully added and logged-in accounts will be displayed. Click on the account you wish to switch to for a quick jump.
Android Client
Adding an Account
Open the side menu in the top left corner of the screen (usually represented by three horizontal lines), click on the current account name or avatar next to the dropdown arrow, then select "Add Account" and complete the login.
Additional Multi-Account Management
The Android system typically has a built-in App Twin or App Cloning feature, allowing you to create an independent copy of the Telegram app for logging into more accounts. Additionally, some third-party Telegram clients support adding and managing more accounts simultaneously. Please refer to the relevant documentation for details.
macOS Client
Adding and Switching Accounts
Right-click or click the "Settings" button in the lower left corner of the main interface. You can directly choose "Add Account" from the pop-up menu to log in to a new account or quickly switch between already logged-in accounts.
Multiple Client Options
macOS users can also choose to install and run multiple different Telegram clients (such as the official Telegram and Telegram Desktop Lite) to log in and manage different accounts separately.
Windows Client
Adding an Account
Click on the menu icon in the top left corner of the window (usually represented by three horizontal lines), click the dropdown arrow next to the current account name, and then select "Add Account" and complete the login.
Multiple Client Instances
If you need to run multiple Telegram clients in separate windows (each window logged into one account), you can try copying the Telegram executable file (Telegram.exe) from the installation directory to different folders, and then launch the program from these different locations. In theory, it supports running multiple instances simultaneously.
